As a sales/marketing team member, you will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on and closing potential leads. In conjunction with sales, you will aid in the creation and maintenance of both our marketing assets and content created to help bring our brand to life and expand revenue.

responsibilities

  • Identifying new customers & markets
  • Converting leads into sales
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (this includes social media, press releases on new projects, etc.) and expands our presence in the stationery and design industry
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Collaborate with our creative team to support our website design, content marketing, and marketing assets while using your expertise and eye for great design
  • Generate sales reports each week to meet weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
  • Design trade show collateral and attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and productive contact with existing clients
  • Update and track client information in our customer relationship software
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth
 

skills & requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales environment
  • Knowledge of the stationery and wedding industry
  • Strong design software experience (Adobe CC or similar), and an understanding of spreadsheet and customer relationship software
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team based environment
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker
