The L.O.P.'s customers are near and dear to our hearts. We can talk about a customer on a first name basis around the shop and we know exactly what the project is. Point is, we are a small print shop and we work hard to make sure our customers know that when they work with us they will have our full attention for every detail throughout the project.
Unless there is an unforeseen earth-shattering event, we make it a point to respond to your questions within 48 hours. If you just can't take the suspense, feel free to call - we love to chat!
How to Order
Email us with your ideas or designs. To help things progress quickly please include:
- A clear description or picture of your ideas or designs.
- Quanity needed. (Some items may be subject to minimum quanities).
- What ink colors and paper you wish to use.
- When do you need the finished product? (tomorrow or yesterday?)
If you don't have the answers to these questions, don't worry! We are here to help. We can make recommendations if needed. We will strive to give you an accurate quote as quickly as possible.
Before printing we will provide you with a final emailed digital proof for you to approve before we put ink to paper. This means what you see in the final proof is what will be printed. We typically require payment in full just before shipping.
Design & Fee
The design process varies depending on lead time and type of project. Once we get a good idea of your vision, we'll provide you with some options and then move on from there.
Design fees are non-refundable, even if for any reason you may decide to nix the project before printing begins. We make every effort to explain your project in full, and forging ahead with a custom design means we have already put time and effort into your project.
Typically our turn around time is 10 business days after approval of final proof for most projects. Some special cases may apply and we will always let you know what to expect.
We typically ship via UPS for orders within the U.S. and via U.S.P.S for international orders.
If you have a tight schedule we can make it work! All rush orders will be charged an additional fee as a percentage of the final cost, plus the additional cost of express shipping. Rush fees are dependent on turn around time and the present workload in the shop.
We make every effort to make sure that what you anticipate is what you will be getting (or better!). If for some reason you are unhappy with your product after you receive it, or it isn't what you expected, we can work with you to make sure you end up satisfied. While we can't offer full refunds, we will do everything we can to resolve any rare, but unforeseen issues.
Once you receive your final proof and give us the go-ahead, your project will be on deck for printing. If for some reason you need to cancel your order let us know as soon as possible. While a design fee may still apply, if we haven't started printing your project there is no penalty. If we have started, we will work out costs on an individual basis.
Sales Tax Policy
The Laughing Owl Press is required to collect sales tax on purchases shipped in the state of Pennsylvania.
